Two massive steel beams spanning the length of the house were installed and all of a sudden, three rooms became one big open concept with a massive island as the centre-piece. The island is packed with storage, a cook top, oven and microwave with tons of counter space, including dining for four; and hidden storage in the back of the island.

The client didn’t lose any space in the transformation, There still exists an area for entertaining, dining and cooking. But the client did gain valuable time with family and friends.
