This homeowner’s wish was to have a big island that would serve as a work and gathering area in the kitchen. In addition, they were looking to update the style and make the kitchen light and bright.

Working with one of our designers, they changed the U-shape kitchen into a full wrap around kitchen with a massive island. The island is 4 by 9 feet and has seating for up to eight. Inside there is lots of small appliance storage, a wine fridge and wine rack.

The base cabinets are a stone grey, with bright white uppers giving an illusion of big and bright! Shaker style cabinets give the simple clean lines and tall linear hardware add to the look. New 30” tiles were installed with heated floors to add all around comfort on those cold mornings..
